If the Dems wanted to, they could eliminate war spending from the Budget. Of course, the President would veto any such spending bill, but that would have effectively the same result - no money for war.<BR/><BR/>The truth is that the Democrats lied to the American people they thought they were representing by telling them that the war would be over if they got elected. Now that the Dems control Congress, the war goes on.
