Also, not all cities are dues-paying members of the Conference of Mayors.

I know there was discussion with the people behind the link to continue to add the requests as they are received.Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12677808307727487766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21829866.post-42592524579938436852008-12-17T23:30:00.000-05:002008-12-17T23:30:00.000-05:00I saw that after I commented, I was using the dire...I saw that after I commented, I was using the direct site, which doesn't have some of the same features, like the voting but it's the one I found this morning when I wrote about what happened at City Council.

What is also interesting is the cities that didn't make a submission.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00606533906583651054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21829866.post-21199083589176745462008-12-17T19:38:00.000-05:002008-12-17T19:38:00.000-05:00Lisa Renee - the link to Crowdsourcing Accountabil...Lisa Renee - the link to Crowdsourcing Accountability lets you pull up a list of all requests from Ohio...it will sort by city...Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12677808307727487766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21829866.post-3280917791303993142008-12-17T17:43:00.000-05:002008-12-17T17:43:00.000-05:00Hi Maggie,Maybe I WAS born yesterday...I can only ...Hi Maggie,

Maybe I WAS born yesterday...

I can only say I was "flaggerbasted" when I saw this list.

The mayor never ceases to amaze...

Just yesterday, City Council ripped off $1million+ from the Ottawa River CIP budget. So the mayor wants $3million more....makes sense to me.....

Does Marcy know about this? Where is Marcy?

Public Housing in L/C has been falling apart for decades....

Mega Garage? My vote would be for an Ultra Mega... Taxpayors pay for health and retirement benefits and now they want us to pay for parking.....

Southwyck Blvd. improvements? Yep, build a new road next to a corpse.....

Intermodal connection? Paaaleeeze...even the Toledo homeless know that Carty doesn't know what the word means....

Maggie....thanx for the "sunshine."navyvethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12367264325929819549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21829866.post-16407496398397591122008-12-17T17:05:00.000-05:002008-12-17T17:05:00.000-05:00Other Ohio Cities who have made requests are Akron...Other Ohio Cities who have made requests are Akron, Canton, Cincinnati, Lakewood, Lima, Lorain,
North Olmstead, University Heights and Warren.

I haven't looked at all of their requests yet, I'm going from the participants list.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00606533906583651054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21829866.post-28868991467512360222008-12-17T15:20:00.000-05:002008-12-17T15:20:00.000-05:00Excellent point, DeeDee. Instead, they spend money on pet projects and programs that get them more favorable publicity with the media and their constituents.

All of a sudden, projects are being hailed as 'economic development' and 'putting hundreds of people to work' when in reality the government should have been allocating their LIMITED (a concept too many politicians don't understand) resources to them years ago, decades ago.DeeDee Liedelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04567259716599270756noreply@blogger.com
