What Congress really thinks about those of us who pay their salary

From fellow Samsphere blogger, Okie Campaigns:

"The Capitol Visitors Center, which opened on Nov. 2, 2008, may have tripled its original budget and fallen years behind schedule, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid found a silver lining for members of Congress: tourists won't offend them with their B.O. anymore.

"My staff tells me not to say this, but I'm going to say it anyway," said Reid in his remarks. "In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol.""

Personally, I'd take the smell of taxpayers over the stench that emanates from Congress on a regular basis. And this is the man fellow Democrats selected to 'lead' them.

  1. Maggie,

I find no fault in your logic, unlike the "logic" of Mr. Reid's...
