This just in via email:

Sue Frederick has been suspended with pay pending the conclusion of our investigation.

For background, check out this post on Swamp Bubbles about her stealing campaign signs.

Isn't it both typical and unfortunate that the best the Finkbeiner Administration can do for one of its pets is a paid vacation for Sue Frederick. Perhaps they will do more when it can be released on a slow news day or buried completely, but based on past performance, it's unlikely.

Hopefully we will see the end of Ms. Frederick when we see the end of her boss in a little over 100 days.

Tim - paid suspensions are usually pretty common during investigations...but it does, conveniently, remove the person from the news during that time period, and give Carty some cover for having done something.

But the true measure is what happens after the investigation....

I am quite certain that she is not only innocent...but not guilty as well.

You are welcome to attend her "promotion" party next Wednesday at the ESM....donations will be welcomed.

Spread the word......Keith and Michael are not invited.

Suspended with pay is usual if you fully expect an employee not to be fired.

If chances of being fired/dismissed is high, then the employee is usually suspended without pay...
