Good advice to remember - both for our local, state and national parties...
"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency or simply to swell its numbers." ~ President Ronald Reagan at CPAC, 2/15/75

Hi!
You should win Post of the Year for this one!
Every politician should have this sewed backwards on their forehead so they can read it every morning in the mirror!
Have a Great Day!
Maggie,
Mr. Reagan was very quotable, and I would like to share a couple more of his pearls of wisdom:
Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.
The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
We miss such wit in current times...
Amen!
