Screwed up priorities!

We don't have enough police officers to 'patrol' convenience stores where illegal activities occur in a parking lots which - of course - means we have to license them, but we have enough police to send nine officers (yes, NINE) to a 'gentleman's club' in order to ask for IDs of people who are smoking??????

You've got to be kidding me!

Amazing mismanagement of one of this city's most valuable and influential resources. When do you think they'll figure out that instead of chasing business & commerce that making the city safe may attract new residents (and perhaps keep some here) and then maybe the rest will follow?

well, I think the phrase that's most appropriate has something to do with the devil's home and freezing...(trying to maintain my blog's G rating)

Again..Navarre should step down. He doesn't even have the respect of most of the officers. Whatever respect I had for him went away when he returned to the job after Carty replaced him and then the replacement quit.

He obviously hasn't a clue on the business nor criminal ends of this job.

C'mon, this is Toledo! Saving us from ourselves (with some hefty fine income )is much more important than going after real crime which is dangerous and criminals tend not to pay their fines.

Chad,

Navarre CAN'T step down.

As sock puppets go, he fits "His Dishonor's" hand like a finely crafted glove.

In dis town da mayor IS da law...
