Here's a screen shot of the headline in the left-hand column in red:
The link takes you to this WTOL story, which is a much better story than the two below it about Columbus and the layoff of some of their police, including the ones just hired with stimulus funds.

Maggie,
You should see the people streaming into the gun shops and buying guns.
Most have no practical training and they are buying 9mm/10mm pistols which IMNHO, they are incapable of handling.
When asked what drove them to buy now, they usually respond that they feel unsafe since the police cutbacks/layoffs and the mulberry incidents...
It's really scary and the people are really scared, especially the seniors...
I see it every time I go in for a practice session, which is every two weeks and when I out buying ammo.
I am all for responsible gun ownership. I have almost always had them, and learned the correct way to use and take care of them.
It's scary that people are in panic mode. And more than that ... it's scary that they have been put in a position to feel like that.
The residents of Toledo pay for safety services. IMO they aren't getting what they are paying for. Hence the panic buying of firearms.
I see some bad things happening with this ... and it doesn't have to be that way.
