Michigan Governor on Obama's team?

I cannot possibly fathom why in the world President-elect Barack Obama would ask Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm to serve on his economic team.

Has he been so wrapped up in campaigning that he missed the patently obvious decline of Michigan's economy since she became governor?

My only hope is that he's included her to make sure HE doesn't do the same things...he did run on a campaign of 'hope,' after all....

Hope springs eternal, it seems people on the left think that the right people have not tried the failed policies they want to institute. Now, for the first time in my lifetime, there will be a government in the US who is to the left of Europe!

The big three got 25 billion from the government in Sept. Now they are back on the hill, in front of Nancy Pelosi asking for more.

However, Obama's plan is to tax top corporations more, of which the big 3 are part.

So - how does that make sense? I guess Granholm will use her personal expertise and experience to help teach Obama how evil conservatives and the free market, not union expectations - is killing the auto industry.
